Our Mission

We are a Christian ministry with a primary mission of serving God’s kingdom and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our students, their parents, family and friends while delivering the highest quality education using the Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum.

Our Vision and Goals

We will always strive to maintain the highest Biblical and academic standards and remain committed to setting children on a path for success. Our goal is to prepare children for the world today and give them the academic and spiritual tools necessary to achieve their God-given potential.

Our Beliefs

Christian Home Academy is committed to a Christian value system, believing in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of God, the Holy Spirit, the virgin birth and the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe in Jesus Christ as the only path to salvation, the Holy Bible as the infallible living word of God and in sharing the love of Christ through our words, deeds and actions.

Our History

Christian Home Academy (CHA) began as a Christian Mission organization in 2001. The primary purpose at that time was to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through education.  During the early years CHA provided an organizational umbrella for home school families in need of guidance, curriculum, and testing services.  By 2007 the need became obvious for full time students to physically attend school and benefit from the special attention that can only be provided by a smaller private Christian School. In August 2007 the school had grown to 46 full time students and the established a physical location at the current campus  located at 16 College Drive, Orange Park, FL 32065.  The school has an expected enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year of approximately 100 students.

Gary Lenzi and Lynne Lenzi purchased the school in May of 2009 after a long association with the school.

Gary Lenzi

was a teacher at Florida State College at Jacksonville from 1998 until 2005 when the college hired him as an Administrator at the Advanced Technology Center, Downtown Campus developing programs and curriculum for technology based industries. Gary served in that capacity until January of 2009 when the vision for full-time ministry lead to the purchase of CHA. Gary is the founder and master instructor for the Defending the Faith Karate Ministry. for the last ten years. He is a certified black belt instructor since 2000. In 2011, Gary was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame. The karate school has been certified through the International Martial Arts Council, The Christian Black Belt Association, The Martial Arts Chaplains Association, Karate For Christ International and The United States Goodwill Tang Soo Do Association. Gary served as chairman of the Board of Trustees at Middleburg United Methodist Church from 2004 until 2006. Gary has been a member of the core leadership team at Evangel Temple Assembly of God Southwest Campus since 2008. As co-owner and principal of the school, he will continue to seek ways to fulfill the call of God on his life.

Lynne Lenzi

was a teacher at CHA for 4 years. Since 2009, Lynne has served as Vice Principal and Director of CHA. In 2010, Lynne was named Business Woman of Year by the National Association of Professional Women in the field of Education. Lynne is a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ with a love of children and a desire to share the Gospel with children, family and friends. Lynne is currently on the leadership team at Evangel Temple Assembly of God, Southwest Campus and is a past president of United Methodist Women at Middleburg United Methodist Church. Lynne is also a first degree black belt in the Karate Ministry. Our Approach

We are a Christian Ministry with a primary mission of serving God’s kingdom and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our students, their parents, family and friends while delivering the highest quality education using the Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum.

CHA’s unique approach to the education of children is demonstrated in our School/Parent agreement signed by the school and each parent.

It is as follows:

I understand that the school is an integral part of child training of which I am expected to support.

I hereby commit to ensure that my children always witness my full support of school policy and discipline and that if I have an issue with anything related to the school, my children will not be aware of it. I will bring my issue to discussion with the school principal behind closed doors and my child will not be aware of any disagreement with the school. I will ensure that my children understand that the school and the parents are a unified force for the betterment of the child and to the Glory of God.

I appreciate the high standards of the school and will not tolerate profanity, obscenity in word or action, dishonor to God, or the Word of God, or disrespect to the staff of the school. I hereby agree to support the regulations of the school and authorize the school to employ discipline as it deems wise and expedient for the training of my child.

I understand that the school reserves the right, after a parental conference to dismiss any child who fails to comply with established regulations and discipline or whose parents do not assume their responsibilities to the school.

I agree to complete parent orientation and understand and agree to the terms stated on this application.
